|  John Woodward
John began his PhD program in the Fall of 2004 at the University of
Georgia and subsequently transferred to the department of Plant Biology at
Cornell University. He is currently working on the BLADEKILLER1 project.
The maize mutant bladekiller1 shows a leaf reduction phenotype that
correlates with a loss of maintenance in stem cell populations. John is
passionate about soccer and also enjoys skiing, mountain climbing, and
running.
